What is “Stay and Play”?

“Stay and Play” is a church run, organised playgroup for the community. We invite you to come along to the church hall during school terms for parent support and play and socialisation for your children.

What age?

For children from 0 to 5 years and their parents/caregivers.

What will we do?

“Stay and Play” is a time to play with your child in an environment with other parents and children. It is a place where children are given time to socialise. Parents/ caregivers also have a chance to spend time with those who are also experiencing child rearing.

 What will I find there?

The children can engage in many play experiences like painting, puzzles, books, sandpit, drawing, play-dough and other fun play activities.

There will be a group time when the children (and parents) are encouraged to join in dancing and singing.

Cost?

There is no cost to come along but a $2 donation is appreciated, if able, to cover materials and fruit which is supplied for the children’s morning tea.

 What I need to bring?

A drink bottle for your child, a hat and play clothes (morning tea is provided).
